5 Crazy Plans for Halloween

A spooky and fun night out, Halloween in London revitalizes the imagination with activities one more crazy that the next. Londoners shake in your boots, Do it in London has 5 crazy cool plans for your Halloween weekend.

The Most Retro : A Roaring Twenties Party at the Candlelight Club

The Candlelight Club helps London swing to the rhythm of the clandestine evenings of the 20s. A secret spot, lit by candles is revealed a bit before for the happy few to enjoy a totally twenties evening: cabaret, live jazz, champagne and retro cocktails.

For their Spooktacular evenings, leave your zombie and bloody vampire costumes in the closet. Think more of chic and glam costumes with vintage tones: crazy wigs, elegant witches, decadent aristocrats, or sinister gangsters…

We love: The fortune tellers that deal cards between two drinks.

The total experience: Have the full 3-course classic dinner (sole meuniere, millefeuille…) for dinner under the candles before hitting the dance floor.

Friday 28 and Saturday 29 October, 7pm to midnight

Pre-ordered dinner menu: £40, Party £20-25

Online reservations necessary: thecandlelightclub.com

The Most Naturalist Halloween: The Horniman Museum

The taxidermist Jazmine Miles-Long, inspired by this craft from the past, brings to light the different talents of this skill of animal preservation. Inspired by the collection of the Horniman Museum, her taxidermy works look like they are watching you from the corner of your eye, just enough to give you a little chill.

For those fearful of silence: the special Halloween market at the Forrest Hill museum will put you back into balance, with pumpkin sculptures and a show about a mummy trying to reach the afterlife, along with food stalls and spooky animal handling.
