Retro Woman: A Vintage Treasure Trove in Notting Hill

It’s not hard to find a vintage shop in London, but it is hard to find a great one. Retro Woman is one of the best, with two floors of gently used women’s clothing, shoes and accessories in the heart of Notting Hill.

What will you find? Big names like YSL, Chanel, Hermes, and Vivienne Westwood, of course, but also modern designs by Alexander Wang, Rick Owens, Proenza Schouler and Rupert Sanderson. And the prices? Much, much less than the original price.

Really hunting for something great? The basement hosts all sorts of bargains on reduced designer goods. You can also sell your goods to the buying department, a great way to get rid of unwanted gifts!

Interested in even more bargains and hard to find items? Check out their sister shops, eight in all, including Retro Man, Retro Home & Clothing, Retro Music & Books and more. The chain of shops has been around since 1967, making it one of  the the oldest second hand shops in the UK!

And of course, the shop can’t name names, but it has seen many a celeb pass through it’s doors over the years, especially of the young actress variety.

Top tip? Follow Retro Woman’s Insta account (@retro_woman_) for updates on new stock. We’ve just spotted a gorgeous Balcenciaga clutch for £240. Race you there….

Open everyday, 10am to 8pm
