Glow Bar: The Feel Good Label Loved by Meghan Markle

A brand new type of beauty cafe, direct from New York, has flourished right near Regent Street. The idea from Sasha Sabapathy? To share her natural anti-stress routine, gleaned from years of being a brand planner in London, New York and Malaysia. The slogan behind Glow Bar: “Sip, sweat and shop.”

The stars in the story are adaptogen plants that permit the organism to fight against stress: ginger, ashwagandha, coryceps or shisandra will no longer hide their secrets from you.

Sasha has developed a line of elixirs to reinvigorate your daily routine: choose between the “Super Sexy” mix to boost your libido (£32.50) or the He Shou Wu powder, ancient Chinese herb mixture to give a boost to your skin and hair (£26.50). The royal detail? It’s Meghan Markle’s fave brand!

How does it work? You sprinkle a bit in a coffee or a smoothie. Even better, you can sip it directly in a Moon Milk at Glow Bar with your friends. Totally girly, the spot if totally on-trend with its design: soft rose, tropicool palm trees, brass with touches of terrazzo and 100% instagrammable neon.

The hardest part? Choosing between the “Chill” concoction with maqui berry, ashwagandha and lavender or the “Yoni” with cacao, shatavir and ginger (£5). To enjoy alongside a bowl of coconut yogurt and pretty toppings to start the day off right (£6.50).

Finally, to totally relax, book in a session of sauna for 45 minutes, alone or with a friend to take advantage of a good chat session (£40 a session, £15 extra for the second person). You can even plug your smartphone in the infrared cabin. Fantastic for launching your favourite playlist.
