Hush: Mayfair’s Members Club without the Membership

Tucked away in a courtyard just off of Bond Street is a Mayfair secret, for those in the know. Hush, the townhouse restaurant, is celebrating 18 years of being a fabulous spot to keep hush about. A members club without membership, this is a glamorous Mayfair spot to see and be seen.

On the ground floor, the trendy Brasserie is a great spot for lunch or dinner. After an 18th birthday makeover by designer Russel Sage, the restaurant oozes chic and casual at the same time, with mismatched chairs and jewel tones throughout. European-inspired dishes like Dorset Crab and Lobster Salad with Avocado (£17) and The Hush Hamburger with truffled brie (£20, voted best in London by The Evening Standard) are teamed up with an extensive wine list, with over 70 wines available by the glass.

A sunny day out? Check out the courtyard, one of the best places to dine outside, a hidden oasis in the centre of London. Check out the light and summery watermelon and feta salad (£10) or the carpaccio with horseradish mayo (£17).

And another option? Blades at Hush is the upscale Italian dining option, in a dark and cosy 60s setting. Inspired by Bond films and private clubs, Hush is discrete and discerning like a private members club. Dinner here is focused on hearty meals with steak or lobster and smooth whiskies.

Even more hush hush? Check out the Super Secret Super Club, with super cool monthly events. Details and prices for all events on the Hush website.
