Belgravia: Chic and Charming Christmas Activities

Composed of a charming neighborhood wedged between Chelsea, Knightsbridge, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park and Pimlico, Belgravia is historic and beautiful, with a rich cultural air.

It is also a lovely neighborhood to stroll around, especially during the holidays. With shops participating in a window display competition and restaurants and bars gearing up for the festive season, it is a perfect time to explore this posh ‘hood.

What’s in store this holiday season? First up is the Pimlico Road Christmas Market, on Saturday the 5th December. Pimlico Road, known for its design and antique shops, will fete the holidays with a Christmas market alongside its weekly farmers market. Live entertainment and music will also be on tap.

On Sunday, the market atmosphere continues with Belgravia Christmas Sunday, taking place on Elizabeth Street. The boutiques along here will be setting up stalls with gourmet goodies, fashion accessories, and more. And look out for the London black cab photo booth with Santa inside - perfect for grabbing a holiday photo of the kiddos.

Fed up with the Christmas shopping? Check out the Grosvenor Film Festival from the 10th to 13th, and escape up in front of a classic Christmas film such as Elf, Love Actually and It’s a Wonderful Life. Eccleston Place Courtyard will be transformed into a cozy winter wonderland with blankets, heaters, mulled wine, and Christmas tunes.
